For an authentic Tuscan experience, the Exchange Student group organised a wine-tasting trip to the Chianti Region. A few things didn't live up to my expectations however 1) It was freezing, snowed and then did that strange in-between slush plus wind and 2) It was less of a wine tasting and more and opportunity to make everyone skull as much Chianti as possible, before that's right, heading to the thermal baths. Someone really thought that one out. The Exchange Student group is really all class. Not a day I'll soon forget, being in a bus with merry Italians singing Andrea Bocelli and Dean Martin and trying to teach unsuspecting foreign students (cough, girls) really, really vulgar Italian drinking songs. Casual sexism is great isn't it?
